It's pretty powerful stuff so I mix a couple of pumps in with my EltaMD Barrier repair cream every other night and my skin responds very well to it. It has so many yummy ingredients in there! I was surprised when I used this that I peeled. I had been using adapalene with is a retinoid (not retinol) that does not need to convert in your skin and I used it every day with hardly any peeling. So I used this product every day too and to my surprise my face became irritated and red so I stopped and waiting a few days and I could literally pull the skin off with my finger like when you have a sunburn that heals and your skin comes off in small sheets. I use it every other day then stop when it gets a little red and burning feeling and let the skin peel. I really think this works great for a retinol.
