You really must warm this in your hands before applying. As other reviews indicate, it’s almost like hard wax to begin with. After warming it up in your hands and applying to damp skin you can really feel it working. I’m still ‘perfecting my technique’ but I’m happy with the results and will continuing using! Obagi makes wonderful products and this one will not disappoint!

I use retinol 0.5 from the same brand with the blender at the moment so it may contribute to the affects on skin.
