SkinCeuticals users often ask two questions: how do I use my SkinCeuticals product, and how do I go about applying it? SkinCeuticals recommends starting each day with an antioxidant product for best results. These products are marked with “prevent” on the bottle, as they are formulated with powerful antioxidants to help keep signs of aging at bay. Once you’ve finished with your antioxidant product and it has fully absorbed into your skin, you can move onto corrective products. These are marked with “correct” on the bottle for their ability to correct visible skin concerns such as aging, discoloration and blemishes. Each morning should start with your antioxidant, followed by any remaining products. For best results, SkinCeuticals recommends applying serum first, followed by gels, lotions, creams and sunscreen. Use 4-5 drops of serum, 2-3 pumps of gels and a pea to dime-sized amount of lotions and creams. Each evening can begin with a PM antioxidant or a SkinCeuticals retinol. Then, you’d apply your products in the same order as you did in your morning routine: 4-5 drops of serum, 2-3 pumps of gel and a pea to dime-sized amount of lotion or cream. Worried about waiting between product applications? Don’t worry! Simply wait a few seconds until your product feels mostly absorbed.
