This is not like a typical toner and makes your skin dazzle. It's like adding a veil that smooths, evens and tightens pores; However, as one reviewer mentioned, the only setback is the price. You pay a lot for a product that does not last long and because of how it's bottled and dispensed there is no way to dab a little onto a cotton pad sparingly. You may treat this though as one of those items you save and use for specials occasions because it really does exactly what it says it's supposed to do.
