Dr. Joel Schlessinger
Joel Schlessinger, MD is a practicing board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Schlessinger has more than 25 years of experience treating a wide variety of skin conditions.
Along with his dermatology and cosmetic surgery practice, Dr. Schlessinger is also the founder of the Schlessinger MD Skin Research Center, a clinical research facility that investigates new medications and treatments for a wide range of skin conditions and cosmetic procedures. He continues to research, write and contribute to a number of scholarly articles, books and research studies in the field of dermatology which can be found here.
Dr. Schlessinger is also the past president of the Nebraska Dermatology Society, the President Emeritus of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, and the founder of the Cosmetic Surgery Forum.
Voted one of America’s Top Docs and the Best Doctors in America, Dr. Schlessinger has also been consistently voted as the best Omaha dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon for more than 20 years.

2005: Building Move
Expanding rapidly, Dr. Joel Schlessinger moved the LovelySkin retail store into a 2,000 square foot bay across from the Skin Specialists, P.C. clinic.
2010: New LovelySkin Facility
Dr. Joel Schlessinger opens a 16,000 square foot facility with a brick-and-mortar store, spa and space for our support staff across from the dermatology clinic. This coincides with LovelySkin's entrance into Internet Retailer Top 40 Fastest E-Commerce Growing Companies.
2010: LovelySkin Spa Founded
LovelySkin Spa is consistently named the best day spa in Omaha, and is recognized nationally for offering advanced professional skin treatments.
2015: LovelySkin LUXE Launches
LovelySkin LUXE is a signature skin care line created by Dr. Joel Schlessinger, providing products that are gluten-free, paraben-free, sodium lauryl sulfate-free and cruelty-free. These products contain high quality ingredients that keep skin looking youthful and radiant.

2015: LovelySkin Facility Expansion
Once again needing more space, Dr. Joel Schlessinger expanded to over 30,000 square feet and added a new loading dock and video studio, all while bringing on more brands and efficiently increasing domestic and international shipments.
2021: LovelyGroup is Formed
LovelyGroup was formed to bring all of Dr. Schlessinger’s entities under one united group. LovelyGroup includes LovelySkin.com, LovelySkin Retail Store and Day Spa, SchlessingerMD, SchlessingerMD Skin Research Center, Cosmetic Surgery Forum (CSF) and Olive & Delmar, all located in Omaha, Nebraska.
2021: LovelySkin Gets a New Look
Always evolving and growing, LovelySkin underwent a complete branding upgrade in September 2021. The new look, voice and feel became more modern and personal while still offering the same award-winning customer service and dermatologist-approved skin, hair and beauty products.
