Glytone was created around a simple concept: provide targeted skin care solutions using the highest levels of free glycolic acid available. The brand began in 1943 as a collaboration between two pharmacists and a dermatologist. Glycolic acid was just beginning to take off as an active ingredient in skin care formulas due to its proven effectiveness. However, most formulations contained a neutralized form of the ingredient, keeping the actual percentages of glycolic acid reaching the skin at a minimum. Glytone adopted free glycolic acid, a truer form that allowed for high, yet safe doses in each formula and even more skin health payoff.
Today, Glytone is known for its glycolic acid-based facial and body care products, as well as its line of quick-acting brightening formulas. Perfect for common conditions like acne, keratosis pilaris, fine lines and dark spots, Glytone products offer maximum results, and the prescription-strength treatments all work synergistically so that customizing the perfect regimen couldn’t be easier. The brand also takes some of the guesswork out of comprehensive care by offering a variety of complete care kits for every need and skin type.

I read an article on self.com that recommended the glytone exfoliating body wash for Keratosis pilaris. I saw that this lotion was recommended after use of body wash so I bought it too! I have been using it for about two weeks and the KP on the back of my arms is gone! The only thing about it is that it goes on kinda thick but once it’s absorbed into skin you don’t notice as much.
