I purchased this as it was recommended from a friend of mine. I like that it has azelaic acid in it, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. I have very sensitive skin and have tolerated this well. It doesn't sting either, which was a concern of mine.

Great for Sensitive Skin

Glytone products are great for sensitive skin types that don't do well with glycolic acid products. I bought this to use when I had to stop using my Tretinoin for a couple of months because I want a gentle exfoliating serum to keep my skin healthy looking during that 2 month period. I first got it as a sample sent to me from LovelySkin and I really liked it, so I bought a full-size bottle. It is a great product and makes your skin look clear and healthy.

A bit much for sensitive skin

I wanted to love this because I love azalaic acid and wanted a more luxurious version. This has other actives in it and was just a bit harsh for my rosacea skin, even though plain glycolic is okay for me. It smells absolutely lovely and is a wonderful texture. It could double as a moisturizer for me as it is not a thin serum, more of a lotion. The down sides are also the really small amount in the bottle, and did not even appear full which made it seem even smaller. A few pumps and the product drops fast in the clear jar. But if you don't have sensitive skin this would be a perfect luxury product and for not that dry skin it could easily replace a moisturizer. Bummed bc I wanted to love it and enjoy the smell and texture.

Works but at a slow pace...

Despite the great and moisturizing qualities of this serum, I would need to purchase two bottles to eliminate stubborn hyperpigmentation and acne marks. It would certainly be worthwhile to buy another if the price was lower, like the toner. As an added bonus, it's not as strong as the toner, which can burn a little.

Brightens indeed!

First of all, let me say that I am 71 years old. I received a sample of this serum from LovelySkin, and knew after one use (there were a couple of uses in the sample) that I wanted it to be the serum I use when I want to look especially pretty. I have a couple of other serums to nourish and protect the skin. I apply this serum after cleansing in the evening, and in the morning my face looks younger and actually radiant. Better than Rx

I have been using prescription 15% azaleaic acid for a couple of years. I received a sample of this and fell in love and bought the full size. I now use this instead of the rx cream because I think it works better. I also use retin-a and dont feel like the glycolic irritates my sensitive-ish skin. It's the perfect balance to create bright, glowy skin without drying me out. Big fan.

Not too strong

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now. I am using it only every other night at present. It only tingles a little bit when I put it on, which I appreciate. Not sure if this is "the one" for me yet. I have noticed that I have been waking up to dry and flaky skin around my chin, but that might be from the exfoliating of cells.
