Not so mild cleanser
I really wanted to love this cleanser, but it is much, much stronger than the name implies so it is difficult for my sensitive skin to handle. The citrus scent is also much stronger than I prefer. The cream is orange and does not lather, which is typical for cream cleansers and okay with me. I wish this didn't leave my face red and irritated because other reviewers seem to have had a better experience than me.

Exfoliation Expectations Met
I used the older version (circa 2005) for many years and liked it. This is somewhat gentler but you can feel it work a bit more than some others I have tried. Some mornings, or when cleaning up primer and make-up, I mix it with a couple drops of the Glytone Exfoliating Serum #11, leave on my face for 30-60 seconds, if I want to push the exfoliation a little more. No one advised me to do this, but I hydrate afterwards and I get a bit more of a push toward exfoliation. Glytone is highly reputable and I feel safe with their products for many years. The new line is terrific.

I do use a surface exfoliant in addition to this once or twice a week. But don't feel the need to exfoliate as often as I did before. It does not take off makeup well, so you will need to double cleanse if you use it at night.
