I thought I'd try this in place of a version from a different brand as it is fast more affordable. I'm sure it is helpful but for me, it takes too long to absorb, and it leaves my skin feeling sticky/tacky that never resolved. I found it difficult to continue with my regimen. Just not what I was looking for.

For me, the formulation is a bit too thick for an HA serum and doesn’t spread easily. While the scent isn’t bothersome I understand how it may disturb some. That being said, effects are very good in terms of skin hydration levels and dewiness.

Wish it were fragrantless
One reason I love La Roche- Posay products is because most of them have no fragrance on my sensitive skin. Although the fragrance of this serum is slight and pleasant, I would prefer there be no fragrance, but perhaps that was not possible due to the ingredients. This serum goes on smoothly, and only a small amount is needed,. Compared to other manufacturers, I find LaR-P products reasonably priced for the quality. This product smells so lovely I would purchase it just for the scent. But I do like the results as well. Initially I was looking to purchase SkinCeuticals B5 Hyaluronic Acid after receiving a sample from LovelySkin. The price is nearly 3x's the La Roche-Posay and I cannot see a difference. If you can get past the texture (it's a bit thick and slimy to me out of the bottle but dries nicely) I think you'll be happy with how smooth and glowing your skin looks and feels.
