Love the Hydration, Do Not Care for the Pilling
I have been using this serum for a couple years now and love how easy it is to use. I use it every morning before the La Roche-Posay matte moisturizer. It isn't too thick and I don't feel it sitting on the skin after applying it. My only problem is that I cannot wear any foundation or other products on top without it pilling on my skin. Like little beads of product that are not penetrating the skin. A little frustrating but a small price to pay for the hydration this gives my skin. I wish it came in a little larger size as I go through one of these serums every three months with daily use.

Pretty good and hydrating, but prefer other brands
This is a solid HA serum. I find it to be a tiny bit sticky, whereas some other brands are more watery. Not necessarily a bad thing, probably personal preference. Definitely delivers results - skin appears smoother and more hydrated!

All good except for the scent
I love every product I've used from the La Roche Posay line so I didn't hesitate to order this hyaluronic gel. However when I first opened the bottle I found the scent overwhelming and almost returned it. After applying it and waiting a bit, it seemed OK. It keeps my skin moisturized and doesn't cause any irritation, so it's working for me after all.

Just a drop is all you need and it seems to be a good hydrator, but the scent is a little strong for me. I've gotten used to it somewhat, but would prefer it to be unscented.

Very moisturizing!
Normally, I prefer a hyaluronic acid with a lighter consistency when applying. Like a light weight moisturizer consistency or gel. This serum is very thick and sticky in nature and almost oily. For that reason, I did not think I would like it at first however, I have gotten used to it and my skin feels amazingly soft after applying and it does sink into the skin more quickly than I had imagined it would. The only thing I do not like about it is that it has a heavy fragrance when applying. However, it does wear off rather quickly. Just not a fan of the flowery scent. I may possibly purchase again though.

Hydrating
I got this as a replacement for the La Roche-Posay Mela B3 dark spot serum because I cannot use any forms of vitamin A right now. It's good and hydrating, though I'm not sure how effective it is long term yet. It's not quite as smoothing as the Mela B3 serum, but it is a good substitute for now and is affordable.

Hyaluronic acid serum
I initially tried La Roche Posey’s hyaluronic 5 serum as a sample and loved it. It’s the first time that I’ve use a hyaluronic serum and I’m still learning about different products. My face does not need much of anything, and I’m very grateful for that so I am all about simple and effective. However, I think I was more excited about the sample because I was using it underneath my tinted sunblock and tinted sunblock or tinted moisturizer, blurs your skin, so it hides any slight imperfections or superficial wrinkles. Now that I have returned to using my regular non tinted sunblock, I noticed that I’m not as in love with the hyaluronic 5 serum. Sometimes it will pill underneath my sunblock if I use too much so it’s still a learning curve. with all that said it’s a great starter product where you can learn about what you need, where to go next all while feeling safe with this product on your face.

Budget HA serum that packs a punch
This is my 5th bottle and I’ll prob be reaching for this every time my skin feels a little dry. I’ve tried the more popular expensive options but end of the day this formula takes the cake for me. It goes on a little sticky but absorbs well and doesn’t pile which is very important.

Nice but....
I bought this to replace my more expensive Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It's thicker than what I'm used to, it does soak in well. But....it has a very strong scent. Its not a bad scent, just a little bit too much on my face and neck IMO. I may order it again because the price is good and just live with the scent.
