I liked the original product but now I prefer the matte. I have sensitive skin and am still prone to acne (really, at my age?) My skin gets oily as the day progresses and the matte looks better especially now with the warmer weather. Also, I find that I need to use less of the matte but also need to work a bit harder to get it to absorb. I like the two steps in one application.

I have tried both the matte and the regular and like both depending on the time of year. My skin is oily T-zone so I use the matte in warmer weather and the regular in cooler. It is so convenient to have moisturizer and foundation together and a high SPF also. At first I hesitated to buy it because of the price, but it lasts a long time because you don't have to use much. I love this product. I have very sensitive acne prone skin at 45. Its really starting to dry. I tried the regular and it was a bit greasy, it stayed on but required application of loose powder to take away the shine. I bought the matte. And I do prefer it. the regular has a dewy look, I dont like to shine. This product agrees with my skin and I wear it out instead of foundation so I dont look overly made up.
