I use it on damp hair after shampooing, and on dry hair when needed to tame the frizz on humid days. This is the best hair oil that I have used and I have tried several. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and healthy looking. My only complaint is that it is very expensive for the amount of product. I have highlighted hair and need to use 5-6 pumps minimum daily for my hair to achieve the desired look. My hair absorbs the oil quickly. It does not leave it greasy. However, I go through two bottles of this oil in a month which means I spend $80 only on oil for my hair. If your hair is not dry, you probably can use a lot less and achieve the desired results. But if your hair is processed and a bit on the dry side you will need a lot more than the directions state based on my experience.
