how much better... it depends
I've tried Virtue Healing Oil after several combinations of shampoos and conditioner and in many different seasons. It does seem to improve the softness, and smoothness of my hair more than if I don't use it at all. It has not made my hair impervious to humidity, and I usually add another serum a few hours after this product. My hair is fine and curly/frizzy. I'm in my late 40s. I shake this well, divide my hair into 5-6 sections, and put 5-6 drops in each section. It has not made my hair impervious to humidity, and I usually add another serum a few hours after this product. The smell is pleasant kind of like a vanilla cookie. I don't blow dry. So, my goal is a product that makes an air dry look amazing. Hence, the 4 stars.

Adds volume and shine
I like to use this on days when I am. It washing my hair. I run a few drops through the ends of my hair and use a dryer brush and am pleased with the results. Definitely seems to add more volume and protects my hair from heat from the dryer.

Smells great
Smells great. It’ll last forever because it doesn’t take much. Doesn’t weigh hair down. I’m sure it’s great for fine hair but I need a little more moisture for my hair than this gives. I have long thick bleached hair if that helps.

Good stuff
I like this a lot except for the smell - it smells so sickeningly sweet -but I keep using it because it’s so good! It doesn’t feel heavy or make my long hair oily at all. I think it is helping recondition my processed hair and gives it shine. This is my 3rd Virtue product and I think they are definitely excellent at giving my long hair much needed help with strength and a healthy look.

This is overall a good product. It takes a little trial and error if you have fine hair to get the right amount. It does seem to help my dry damaged ends.

I began using this after my hair was dried out by coloring. It smooths and seems to restore shine. You do have to be careful to only use a few drops or it flattens the hair (like all oils) but it really helps the ends of the hair and provide some heat protectant.

Really nice oil, but strong scent
This healing oil is really nice and made my hair nice and soft without making it appear oily. The scent however, is a bit overpowering, especially when it starts to compete with my perfume.

Super Soft Results
I am rather impressed with this hair oil. It smells wonderful, & more importantly works well. My hair is super soft after use, & also not at all greasy or oily. I have super fine hair, & this is a huge deal for me. I've tried at least 3 other hair oils & all of the others I've tried, no matter the amount used, always result in greasy, oily hair. This is also the first I've tried that didn't have an off-putting smell. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase. I've not been using it long enough, however, to attest to whether or not it actually "improves hair health".
