Improved Appearance & Manageability
Since my dermatologist prescribed the Viviscal supplements, I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. My review is twofold. Results: liked the manageability and appearance of my hair after use. Did not have to use an additional spray leave-in condition and hair was till supple and manageable, Scent: smells like a man's cologne. I enjoy men's cologne on a man but not on me. With that being said, since I like the use results, I am still using, but am not certain if I will reorder once the product is used.

Works over time
I have fine, color-treated hair that has no body or volume on its own. This Viviscal Pro thickening shampoo truly is making a difference in my hair. Slowly but surely it's fuller and healthier. I'm also taking the Viviscal tablets for hair growth where it's thinning. It's taken a couple of months but it truly is working. The sides by my temple are getting much less thin and it seems like I have more hair. It takes time but it ultimately works! I will continue to use faithfully.

First Shampoo Difference
After I used Viviscal Shampoo he first time, my hair felt and looked thicker. I shampoo twice a week. I have used the shampoo a total of 4 times. I am pleased with the difference so far. My hair is thinning due to age and I have highlights about every 6-8 weeks. I hope what I am seeing is a change to the overall denseness to my hair and not just that it temporarily coats my hair. I am pleased enough to continue using it either way.

The shampoo is a good product, and I am hopeful that my hair will thicken. My only suggestion to the manufactures is to produce a "thin to thick" shampoo that also protects color treated hair. I find that my hair color fades quickly using the Viviscal hair products, but my desire for a healthy head of hair is greater than my need to retain the color. Thanks.

I love the scent of this shampoo which is earthy so both men and women will find it refreshing. I am using this along with the conditioner for Chronic Areata Alopecia that has just been diagnosed by my Dermatologist. My hair has always been quite fine but I noticed lots of hair on my comb after shampooing in the shower recently and made an appointment with my Dermatologist. Since I have started using this along with a prescription Lidex solution and a Minoxidil and Retinol Foam combination, there is much less loss of hair. I wish the shampoo lathered up a bit more than it does, but all in all, I am very happy with this product.

Not what I expected
I've been using this product since July 2017. I started using it because my hair was destroyed at a hair salon. I lost my hair over the entire crown of my head. My dermatologist said I had thermal burns to my scalp. I wore a wig for over a year while having it treated by another hair care professional who was successful in getting my hair to grow back, but unfortunately, she was not able to bring back all of my hair. The top and sides of my head were very, very thin. So much so, I can't wear certain styles because the hair is so thin that it's not able to cover my scalp. It reminds me of a bald man with a with a comb over (not pretty). The good news is, the rest of my hair has thickened and grown using this product, and there has been no further breakage on the top and sides. The bad news is, my hair in the damaged areas hasn't thickened to hide the baldness as of yet. I realize it's a process and will take time, so for that reason I will continue to use it (as well as the thickening shampoo and conditioner) to see if anything happens in the future. My hairdresser feels as if my follicles have been badly damage and that the hair may never return. But I'm going to hang in there and hope for the best.
