He has easily irritated skin, especially around the hair follicles after shaving and if the hair grows too long. I think this got him a close shave and whatever ingredients are in it looked like they helped to soothe his skin and moisturize some. The cooling was not bothersome to his skin.

I had been using the Elemis (non-foaming) shave gel and still love it. This product foams and for me, provides a more comfortable shave. And it only takes a nickel-size amount of gel to cover your face and neck. Compared to the less-expensive gels available in stores, this one just rocks. Give it a try!
