I live in Florida in the winter and although it's not as warm as summer, the sun is still very strong. I was looking for a tinted (sun protecting) moisturizer and discovered EltaMD when I received a sample. It's a great product .... not oily at all but goes on very smoothly. A skin-toned formula which will blend with most skin colors. I apply it over my moisturizer - it will give some light coverage - and then apply a bit of foundation. I use it every morning and feel comfortable that I'm protecting my skin from constant UV exposure. I have also gone to a medi spa here and purchased a similar product for, literally, three times the price! I think this is a great product at a great price!!

I'd been using EltaMD tinted sunscreen for several years. I received a sample of this product and decided to try it...I'm glad I did. At first, the tint seemed too yellow for my fair complexion, but it seemed to self adjust. This is the best sunscreen that I have ever used. Since I have Rosacea, finding the right products is a challenge. This sunscreen is perfect for those who suffer from sensitive skin. It is a completely physical sunscreen with a good amount of zinc oxide, which is the best sun protection for sensitive skin. It does not have the dry feel that some all physical sunscreens have. It is extremely hydrating, but has no oil, which can further irritate skin. Most importantly, it has no fragrance to irritate. It is lightly tinted, but is very neutral. The only drawback is the pump, which sometimes requires that you turn the tube upside down and shake it. However, I find that this is a minor inconvenience, when considering all the good points. EltaMD makes wonderful sunscreens, and clearly understands sensitive skin.
