Love the tint!
This is great as a sunscreen and I love that it's tinted, but I still need a moisturizer with it. I think I'll use this with no foundation in the summer.

I have both this product as well as the UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 (tinted). Comparatively speaking, this one is a little more drying and gives a more matte finish once fully dried. I prefer this one for the summer when it's more humid, and my skin is more moisturized and the latter for the winter when my skin is parched and needs every bit of moisturizer it can get. Both have a nice, albeit slightly different texture. This product has an almost mousse-like quality to it, while the other one is more creamy. Both are easy to spread. Color-wise, I do find this one leaves me looking a bit paler which I don't love seeing as how I use it in the summer. But, it does manage to even out my blotchy skin tone (well enough anyway), and it stays on stays on well to boot. Less is more as I continue to age and my skin does too, so all in all, a great product to have in the old beauty arsenal.

I use this on my face mostly in summer time. It blocks the sun very well. Never got a burn using this so far. It's a bit thick. And I do not care for the color. Kind of light and ashy looking on my skin. I would rather a tint with more brown under tone to it. I also have pretty fair skin. Although it's not everything, I will still continue to purchase .

I really like the EltaMD Sunscreen and will continue to buy it. It goes on smoothly and does not leave a white cast to my skin. It leaves my skin moist but not oily. The only reason I did not go with 5 stars is that the tint is a little too light for me. I wish there was another option for darker skin! Then I would not need any foundation at all. If you are fair skinned you will love it. If you're on the darker side, you might want to add a little mineral powder foundation....

Excellent Sun Protection, Lightweight Foundation
My skin is VERY fair and sensitive to ANY amount of sun exposure...so I have used this product EVERY Day for the last 5+ years bc it is one of the few products that has such a high percentage of titanium dioxide in it, which is well known to prevent dark spots and hyperpigmentation. I don't leave the house without it. It rubs in easily and is NOT at all greasy, and does not block pores. The only reason I do not rate it a 5 star is bc I wish it had a little more tint to it, with yellow and green corrective undertones in it to better conceal redness as I use this alone without any additional foundation (though it is light enough that you could if you wanted to). If you light a like natural look...you can use alone, and also can wear to work out. I LOVE all the EltaMD sun products bc they prevent your skin from aging so well and use the Physical Defense for my neck, chest and arms for sheer, non greasy coverage I can trust.

I like the EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 (Tinted). The tint is not too overwhelming so that it does not alter the skin color substantially. The sunscreen gives an adequate protection but is not too greasy or thick. SPF41 is a good protection for the face. Furthermore, the product can double as a make up base. It is also a moisturizer. I will continue to use it.

A good "clean" sunscreen
I recently had laser on my face for acne scars and I MUST use sunscreen to avoid pigmentation. I have sensitive, acne prone skin and sunscreens can irritate and cause acne on my skin. My esthetician suggested I use UV Physical because it is oil free and the active ingredients are chemical free. I also like the light tint for extra help with blemish coverage.

This sunblock goes on very smooth, especially for one that is chemical free. The sheer color is pretty universal. I wasnt sure at first, but then it blends nicely. YAY - No Breakouts!
I love that this product causes NO BREAKOUTS because its comprised of physical sunscreens only (mineral, non-chemical). I apply it heavily with a foundation brush, not only for even coverage but because it feels like I don't have anything on my face at all. It has a matte finish and I personally like that. I was hoping not to need a foundation but the tint is so sheer that I definitely need a foundation and also to neutralize the mattifying effect this has on my skin. Overall, I like it and it's effective but I think the tint is really only there to disguise the white cast this sunscreen would probably leave on skin due to the physical sunscreen.
