I gave 4 stars because I've only been using the Elastiderm for about 4 weeks and feel like I can't offer a full review yet. It goes on very smooth and feels great. I do feel as though there has been some tightening in the short time. I only use it at night because it "rolls" under makeup. I apply all the way around my eye in a thin layer.

Haven’t used long enough to give a fair review but I will say it’s a much thinner consistency than I was hoping for. I was hoping for a thick under eye cream. I did reach out to Obagi asking if it would help with bags and circles as that is what I am attacking, not so much fine lines. That’s what my Botox is for. I can update in a few weeks once I’ve used longer.

I purchased this originally intending to use it morning and evening. However after using it for several evenings I found found it to consistently sting my eyes at night. I have since switched to using this AM only and a different eye cream at night—problem solved. This has a nicely lightweight, slightly cooling gel cream texture that works well with makeup application. I do feel like my eye contour area seems firmer, the skin less thin and crepey, and that my fine lines seem smoothed out. Since I’ve been using a different eye cream at night, it’s hard to know which of the two are most responsible for the anti-aging benefits I’ve seen. But since I’ve been seeing positive changes to my aging eye area and have figured out how to solve the annoying nighttime stinging I get with this product, I will most likely continue with my present regimen of this product by day and the other eye cream (the TNS one by SkinMedica) by night.

I really have never noticed any real difference in the reduction of any under eye fine lines or wrinkles with any eye cream I have purchased--not even the $300.00 creams. This, however, is hydrating, goes on smoothly, and goes a long way. I have noticed with this particular eye cream that my puffy eyes in the morning are a lot less puffy when using ELASTIderm.

I cannot say it removes dark circles nor does it remove deep lines. I do feel it takes away some of the puffiness.
