Great after procedure recovery gel
After getting a laser procedure for a facial scar, my dermatologist provided a smallest size of this product to use it every 4 hours. Unlike some other healing gel I was given by other doctors, I was surprised that I could start using this product immediately after the procedure without any wait, and start healing. Because the small tube did not have much in it, I googled it and saw the rave reviews by all the customers, and luckily, found out LovelySkin sold it. This gel goes on smoothly, keeps my treated area moist all day, and everything looks nicely healing. I am a believer of this special gel.

THIS STUFF WORKS!!!
Man I really wish you can post pictures because it’s astonishing how well this worked for me, and especially helpful for those with deeper skin tones like me to see what they can expect their healing process to look like. I recently had a keloid removal procedure followed by radiation to ensure another keloid doesn’t grow back. About a week after my suture removal (and 2 weeks post radiation), I had awful peeling over the incision area. I was already worried about my incision scar but then after the peeling I was worried I was going to have an even bigger scar on my hands if my skin didn’t grow back properly. Other than Vaseline/Aquaphor, I wasn’t aware what else to put over open wounds. I came across a video of plastic surgeons raving over this silicone gel’s ability to re-epithelialize open wounds quickly and bought it with overnight shipping that very day (I only was this urgent since this scar is on my face lol). Boy did it work! Within 2 weeks, my skin has grown back completely and the incision scar is healing over nicely too. I wish I knew about this gel 2 weeks sooner when I first got my incision, because with Aquaphor you have to find a balance between applying enough to keep the sutured skin moist but not too much that’ll cause maceration. This gel though has no such issue since it’s occlusive yet breathable. It’s also nice to find a silicone product you can use on open wounds, since most gels require you to wait for the wound to heal first. Anyways I’m glad I found this product—worth every penny!

Useless product
Not sure why all reviews are positive for this product, unless company is removing negative reviews. I purchased this product hoping to be able to cover small wounds (burns and cuts) instead of using bandages. The product has misleading claim that it will form a film. It will until the first hand wash that is. It washed off completely after I washed my hands and the burn was exposed. I’m better off using liquid bandage from drug store for under $5. I'm really hoping I can return this, as it is pricey and useless. Do not buy!

Little Goes a Long Way
I got this on the recommendation of my dermatologist because I am highly allergic to all adhesives and needed something to form a barrier over an incision to remove a skin cancer. This worked well, though I had a hard time applying a small enough amount to get it to dry instead of remaining wet. It definitely did not bother my skin and my scar healed beautifully, so I recommend it.

A skin saver
After a laser treatment gone awry that severely burned and bruised my skin, this product has been a skin saver. Easy and convenient to use
My plastic surgeon recommended this product to me to use on the incision points he made during a neck lift procedure. It's VERY easy to use and it acts like a bandage. And then later - he switched me to StrataDerm to make scars disappear. My doctor has the reputation as being the best so I trusted his judgement about what products I should be using to look my best and be a walking advertisement for him. A friend of mine had the same procedure from a different doctor and he recommended products other than StrataMed and StrataDerm and believe me - my "scars" are MUCH better than hers. Both StrataMed and StrataDerm are the supreme products.

My surgeon recommended this product...
...and I can see why. It seems to accelerate healing, and it's nearly invisible. It's very easy to use and dries quickly too. My only issue is that the cap cracked while closing. For the price, I would have liked a more robust cap. Fortunately, LovelySkin immediately sent me a replacement. That's incredible customer service, and I'll definitely be ordering skincare from this website again!
