Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion 16 oz
My Allergist recommended I start using the Vanicream products when I became allergic to several ingreadients found in the cosmetics I was using. She started me onthe Vanicream Moisturizing Cream. It helped with my allergy issues, but it was thicker than I liked when I put my foundation. I decided to get the lotion but had trouble finding it in the local stores. That's when i started looking on the internet and found it on the LovelySkin site. Now I'm using the cream at night and the lotion during the day. My foundation goes on more smoothly now. This is a great product if you have allergies or contact dermatitis as I do.

Not moisturizing enough
I tried the travel size to test and compare this lotion to the cream version. The lotion isn't moisturizing enough, even in the summer months. I think it would work well if you live in a humid climate, but not in drier climates. The cream was perfect for my dry, aging skin.

Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion is a very nice lotion that is GREAT for sensitive skin. It moistures well without being heavy or greasy. It dries down nice without any tacky or sticky feel. It’s free of dyes, fragrances, lanolin & parabens. The price point is great for the quality of the product. There is no scent, which is also a plus for sensitive skin. Vanicream does make thicker products, but I prefer this one, especially for the summer. You won’t be disappointed.

I switched to Vanicream and it doesn't absorb as well and my skin has been very dry and flakey since switching. I will not be ordering again. It might work better for people with less dry skin though.

I was a little concerned when I bought Vanicream this time because I couldn't find the "Lite" version that I always get. Your description said "formerly Lite" so I guess they changed the name. Seems to be the same consistency. I use it all the time because it was recommended by my dermatologist. Love it.
