LOVE this “lite” version
I have the larger size of this lotion and use it on my face and hands. I wanted the travel size to keep in my purse. I’ve used vanicream’s cream as well - it’s definitely a LOT thicker than this lotion. So I would recommend this lotion if you need something for your face / hands, but go for the cream if you’re looking for a heavier body moisturizer.

My dermatologist recommended I use this for dry skin and said it won't make my milia worse. It has helped my dry skin, but I would like it to be slightly more hydrating/moisturizing, but it does the job (I usually apply it 3x through out the day) but my dry skin has gone away.

This lotion is intensely hydrating. When applying you might think oh no, this is going to be greasy. But wait 2 mins. It absorbs just like that! leaving behind baby soft skin. The only downside is there's a barely noticeable odd scent, perhaps because it's not masked by added fragrance. But I actually prefer that to added fragrance and I can forgive the somewhat odd scent because this lotion is such a strong performer.
