Avene usually doesn't let me down, so I'm having high hopes for this. It feels nice and is easy to apply, but it will be many months before I'll see the final result (using on a recent surgical scar). Great ingredients, but may want to alternate with pure silicone, which my doctor suggested using.

I had a very irritated rash pop up on my face within hours of applying this spray. I'm not allergic to any ingredient in this, so I can only conclude it was too drying and therefore irritating to my skin. I've been dealing with dryness and a rash on and off ever since, for 1.5 weeks now. This is meant for moist wounds and macerated areas. I have a lot of contact dermatitis allergies and this Avene Cicalfate product was the only one safe for me. I know others can use this without problems but for me it was way too drying for the face.
