I am a first time Laura Mercier customer. I don't know why! The shadows are light with heavy pigment. I react to shimmer shades but the current matt shades are on trend. What I love the most is applying with finger tips. Yes, no brush is needed. As a matter of fact a brush leaves a light covering and the fingertips with the oil and warmth applies a much heavier matted shade. My next purchase will be the setting powder.

Matte Eye Shadow/Buttercream
This is a lovely matte shadow that goes on very smoothly. My eyelids can be very dry (eczema flare ups at times) but this shadow glides on. The color is very soft, not a lot of pigment Buttercream is a light shade. I don’t like dark colors at this age. The only reason I deducted a star is because the case can be a real bugger to get open!

I am a 'dirty blonde' with peachy skin so like a natural, nude eye shadow.
