This is a cleanser with some pretty serious exfoliation action: it foams AND has small beads AND contains alpha and beta hydroxy acids. For that reason, I only use it once or twice per week. More than that would be way too harsh for my aging, combination skin. But for those times where I'm getting pre-menstrual flares or have been wearing a lot of makeup, this is just the thing to deep clean and wash away all of life's debris.

When I wear makeup and sunscreen, I like to use it as a second cleanse (after an emulsifying cleansing oil) for a really thorough cleansing. You need a very small amount of cleanser, so a tube lasts a long time. I have very sensitive mature skin, and I’ve had no problems whatsoever using this once a day. Although, I do like to rotate out other cleansers every so often since I still have some on hand. This is a great find, and I’ve already purchased a back-up!
