Good not great
The fact that I purchased this in April 2025 and it is now August 2026 and half the bottle is still full is quite telling. I so wanted to love this. It is very gentle, I don't feel that it exfoliates enough. I am a hugh fan of SkinMedica but I can't endorse this product. It just feels like a regular cleanser. I wash my face twice a day and rarely reach for this anymore. I would say if you can get this as a sample, it's worth giving a try first before committing to a full bottle.

Unclogs my pores
I like this cleanser because it thoroughly cleans my skin from dirt oils and make up, without affecting the top layer of my skin. My follow-up products works better and more easily absorbs. Be cautious using this on a regular basis during the summer months. I always follow up with a sunscreen when I do. Used on a regular basis it can make your skin very susceptible to affects from the sun. I would buy this product again.

Had almost given up on exfoliating face washes. They always end up being too abrasive and did more harm than good for my sensitive skin. Love the cleanser, hate the new screw top!
This is a fantastic cleanser that I have used for years. Fast forward to the launch of the "new look" but why get rid of the flip top? Who wants to screw and unscrew a lid while in the shower? Skinmedica, please listen to your customers and bring back the flip top or any type of easy-to-open top except an inconvenient screw top!

I’m only so-so on this cleanser. It was on sale so I gave it a try since I have loved other SkinMedica products. I had previously been using an an exfoliating cleanser from a different brand that is no longer available. I don’t think this product holds a candle to the one I can no longer get. I plan to keep shopping for a cleanser that exfoliates a litter better than this one.
