My new go to tinted sunscreen
I was an active user of the Elta MD Elements Tinted sunscreen however after they changed the formula I was on the look out for a new tinted physical sunscreen. I received this product yesterday and tried it out for the first time this morning, Colorescience lived up to my expectations! The color adapted very well to my skin tone and it has a light feel on my face. I will be using this every day, no foundation needed.

Colorescience Flex Mineral sunscreen
This is the best sunscreen I have ever used and I have been around a long time! Everything they say it does, it does!. It adapts to your skin tone beautifully. Just put it on your fingers, tap it a few times to get the color to release and apply to face. Use dots and then blend. Mineral sunscreen does not like to be manipulated. Wait a little to let it adapt to skin tone and add more if desired. Don't forget to reapply every so often. True for all sunscreen. Use their color balm for cheeks to get even more protection on areas where sun will hit the face the most.

My Regular Sunscreen + Foundation All-In-One
I use this very morning as my regular sunscreen and foundation product all-in-one. I only apply one layer of the correct dosage (1/4 tsp) so the coverage is more sheer, but you can apply more layers to achieve fuller coverage if you like. The colour does adjust to match my skintone well as the product describes. I am quite surprised to find that this tinted zinc-based sunscreen, which has a high amount of zinc oxide, does not dry my skin out since other zinc-based sunscreens that I have tried in the past have done so. Note that my skin is oily so I may not know if dry skin types would have a different experience compared to mine. All in all, I am very happy with this product and will continue to purchase more.

I have tried many tinted SPF In the last few years and none of them worked for them. Either they made me too dry or they looked gray on my skin, it was something. This one is actually pretty smooth and easy to apply. Also it blends in with my skin. Also it doesn’t make me feel dry. We will see ..
