How-to: Makeup Strobing

Video Summary

Hi guys! Welcome back! I'm Kristen, and I'm an aesthetician here at LovelySkin and on today's tutorial we're going to be talking about strobing. So, this is the latest and greatest makeup trend. It's a shortcut to contouring, so let's get started.

All right, so your first step is to go about your normal concealing and foundation routine. I already have mine on. Hold off on the blush. We will be doing that later.

So, the second step is to find your highlighter. You want to use more of a champagne color, so today I'm going to be using the Circle/Delete in the shade of #1 by jane iredale. Just open that up. I'm going to be using the lightest shade that's in this duo. So, first you just want to take this. Put a little bit on to the arches of your cheekbones and on top of your brow, so kind of in that C shape. And then put some down the center of your nose, just like that. And then dab some just in the center of your chin and in the center of your forehead. And then you just want to buff it in.

Okay, so the final step is to apply your blush. Today, I'm going to be using the YOUNGBLOOD blush in the color of Blossom. Just dab a little bit onto your blush brush, tap off the excess, and apply under to where we strobed.

All right, guys, so that's strobing, easier than contouring and very simple to add into your daily makeup routine. And as always you can find all of the products that we use here today on or you can come and visit our retail store. So thank you so much for watching and I'll see you next time. Bye guys!
