Hi guys! Welcome back! I'm Kristen, an aesthetician here at LovelySkin, and on today's tutorial we're going to be talking about the different ways you can use concealer.
All right, so to hide blemishes and red spots, you want to use a green concealer. The one that I recommend you use is Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Redness Concealer. This will help cancel out any redness to give you a nice smooth, even skin tone.
So another way to use concealer is for dark circles. This is something that all of us are going to have to deal with at some point. You can use jane iredale Enlighten Concealer. You want to make an upside down triangle underneath your eye. This gives a nice uplifting look to your eye. You want to blend it in just by dabbing your fingers after you make the triangle and then it works perfectly.
All right so now moving on to the highlighting aspect of concealing. You want to get a concealer that is two shades lighter than your natural skin tone. So the one that I love using and I recommend is jane iredale Active Light Under-Eye Concealer. You want to conceal where natural light hits, so you want to do your upper cheekbones, around your brow bone and then down the center of your nose.
Finally, another common way to use a concealer is for covering your tattoos. One product that you can use that works wonderfully is Dermablend Quick-Fix Body. It’s super simple to do. It just comes up kind of like a lipstick and then you just want to dab it on whatever tattoo you’re trying to conceal and then just kind of blend it in. Super simple to do. So it doesn’t smudge or run throughout the day, you want to use Dermablend Loose Setting Powder. You just take a little powder brush, rub it over where you concealed and then this holds it throughout the entire day so it works wonderfully.
All right guys, and that’s it! Super easy and a lot of different ways that we can use concealer. As always, you can find all of the products that we used here today on LovelySkin.com or you can visit our retail store. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you next time. Bye guys!
