I tried this serum based on the recommendation of my stylist. What I love about it is most scalp serums weigh down my hair or make it look dirty. This one does not & it smells delightful. It is too soon to tell if it helps with my hair loss, but I haven’t noticed a lot of shedding since starting it.

This shampoo is very calming. Scent isn't very strong, doesn't dry out my scalp, and I'm not itchy or flaky afterward. Great for a daily shampoo. On the other hand, if I don't shampoo every day, this doesn't do a good job removing grease (wouldn't be good if you have oily scalp).

I use this primarily as a body moisturizer. Hydrates and smells great--like the best summer vacation ever. It takes about 8 pumps to cover entire body. I usually use whatever is left on my hands on my face--which is quite a surprise. I have sensitive, acne prone skin, and this oil just provides a bit of hydration, without causing breakouts. It doesn't work with my hair; it leaves it a lank and limp looking mess. I have lots of long, fine, wavy hair, that is dry and sensitized on the ends. But I love it for my skin! The only complaint I have is the packaging. The heavy glass bottle looks great, but is impractical. The square design and size makes is impossible to hold and pump with one hand. So, you have to place the bottle on a flat surface and pump into your hand. Also, the pump itself is spasmatic...when you press down, it squirts all directions. You need to cup your hand around the opening to sort of catch the product as you are dispensing. It's a pretty price product, and I'm surprised to encounter these design problems.

This helps when my scalp starts getting scaly, I leave it in as long as possible before shampooing it out (it's too oily to wear in public I think). Smell is strongly herbal. The roller applicator is a pain, you can't tell how much you've applied, I ended up taking off the tip and apply with my hands instead.

On a recent visit to Paris, I went to the Leonor Greyl Institute to provide advice on my (frustrating) life-long oily scalp and, more recently, hair thinning. Addressing the oily scalp, they combined the Huile Germe de Ble and the Concentre Energetique (50/50) as they recommend on the box and let it sit on the scalp for about 20-30 minutes. They recommend this as a weekly treatment. The effect on the hair is kind of magical--it really does "dry" the hair out without making it feel too dry. Mind you, it does not solve the problem of oily hair but it does help. My scalp does not feel as irritated anymore. I am really enjoying this brand and all the products I have used so far. This may be my favorite.

This oil is good for stopping itchy scalp and preventing new flakes /bumps/ plaques. It doesn't seem to do anything long term, have to apply it every day after I shower. The roller ball applicator is a pain, you can't tell how much you've put on, easy to overdo it and end up with an oily mess.
