Great Product

I don’t wear makeup often because I am home most days, but when I do, this melts away everything for easy removal and leaves my skin feeling soft and not stripped of all oils or too greasy. I also follow it up with a facial cleanser (Dermalogica or Clinique mild cleanser). I have sensitive skin and this does not give me acne or irritate my eczema as many products can. I used Clinique’s makeup removal balm before this and liked it, but this product is more soothing to my skin and “melts” a little better for more complete removal. I’m 62 y/o with fair, dry skin that is prone to acne, redness and eczema.

Nice Surprise!

I wasn't sure about this product as I have been using the PreCleanse oil. Thought this would be really thick and leave a heaving film on my skin. Dope, it didn't! It says it's for dry skin so I thought it would help the skin irritation dryness and it does. It's a keeper!

Precleanse Balm

I am a long time fan of Dermalogica and use a variety of their products. I started using the precleanse oil many years ago and became hooked at how clean my face was after washing. My treatment products absorbed much better with a thoroughly cleaned face. Without precleanse, there would always be some level of residue make-up on my hand towel. But as I got older and my skin became more mature. I needed products that were all around more moisturizing from cleansers to moisturizers and everything in between. I shifted to the precleanse balm and I LOVE IT! It does the same great job of cleansing the skin of all make-up (especially that tough mascara), but is a bit more moisturizing. It doesn't leave my skin quiet as dry. I have tried to go without it as sometimes I can't afford this extra "luxury", but I can't. It is now a necessity in my routine and I find the budget for it or jump on the deals when I see them. You will be surprisingly addicted to this product.

I use PreCleanse every single evening when I get home from work to remove dirt, oil and makeup from my face. I love how the jojoba oil just melts away my makeup. Simply amazing! Still need wipes for eyes...

I purchased this product to avoid using wipes under my eyes to remove mascara, but after using this balm, I still need another step to remove the make-up completely. I’ll try a different product once this runs out. I love all Dermalogica products, but this one is just ok.

Pre cleanse

I never thought of double cleansing my face until my friend started doing it and her skin looks beautiful! My skin cleanser doesn't remove my make up as much as I'd like it too. This balm melts into my skin and removes all make up. Even mascara. So now when I apply my toner with a cotton pad it doesn't have traces of my make up on it at all. My skin hasn't had any break outs since I've used it! I'm sure it makes all my serums and lotions work better with clean skin..

Just as nice as the cleansing oil

If you have ever used, the PreCleanse oil, you are already know how PreCleanse helps prep the skin. I like the balm more for areas that are drier, like the eye area and lips. If you are combination, or oily, I would suggest using this in the drier winter months, not year-round. The included scrub mitt really helps to work the product in and break up what you need to remove. Excellent.

Favorite Pre-cleanser

No one can go wrong with this pre-cleanser. It takes off all makeup, including waterproof mascara with hardly any rubbing. It's quick, easy-to-use and something that I use every night followed by a cream cleanser. Sometimes, I use the cream cleanser first and follow up with the pre-cleanse. Never makes my face too oily but is calming and soothing as well. I'm always on the look out for newer and better products, but this one is a keeper.

I love this product! Great for dry skin all year long. The bonus is the formula and tube (jars are known for bacteria growth when using fingers). The only down fall for me is you need more than a dime size for this to cover your face. I used up half the tube in two weeks. I won’t purchase again due to expensive tube but great experience!

Luxurious Cleanser

I love using the precleanse balm as the first step in a 2-step cleanse. My skin is extremely sensitive, and I try to avoid cleansing with water every day. Better Than Before

I've used Dermalogica's PreCleanse before. This one is much better. It comes as more of a balm and less oil AND has a nice silicone mitt to help really get the dirt and makeup off. I will be buying this again.
