Not a fan of silicone in conditioners/shampoos

I LOVED this shampoo and conditioner until about one year of using it- my hair started looking like it was coated with something and thinning badly. Also, my hair dryer was coated with a sticky residue... I realized it was the silicone in these products causing build up on my scalp, hair and styling tools! It took me an hour to remove the silicone build up on my hair dryer, and three intense clarifying treatments to get it off of my scalp and hair! This line gives gorgeous results, but I highly recommend that you use a clarifying shampoo regularly to remove the build up this creates. After my experience, I will only use silicone-free shampoo and conditioners since clarifying treatments are too drying for my hair type and it's too much of a hassle.
