Yep, it's matte!
I bought this hoping it would minimize the appearance of pores and offer a soft focus effect that mattifying products can sometimes give. This does exactly that! I cannot speak to the oil blocking capabilities because I do not have oily skin, but this certainly does blur pores and prevent shine. It applies well over their FaceShield Original and Flex SPF formulas and does not look powdery. Love it!

This product is excellent! I have had numerous skin cancers, including melanoma. This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist. Having the product and application brush together is so handy and makes it very easy to use. It can be applied over makeup throughout the day and looks wonderful. Great for sensitive skin
I gifted this to my sister in law who had complained she was having trouble finding a sunscreen that agreed with her sensitive skin.
