Nice product but not for stand alone use

I did not realize that this really cannot be used alone, must follow up with colored mascara. The treatment does not go on clear, more like a paste. I tried it as a night time treatment, but it bothered my eyes. It works very well as a base and I was pleased with how it made the most of the lightest application of my regular mascara.

Best find of the year

Love, love, love jane iredale’s pure lash and lash extender. I wear it all the time, even when at home gardening, as it conditions my eye lashes. I out it on, wait a few minutes by combing my hair and/or putting on sunscreen and then 5 or 10 minutes have passed and put on mascara . Want just to make my eyelashes look longer and thicker. My new must have beauty secret.,

I really like this product. It is one extra step & I think the price point could be better but I notice a difference when I use it. Normally I use 2 - 3 coats of mascara but with this I only use 1 coat so my lashes don't look clumpy and they look longer.

Conditions

I always use a lash primer and I like the JI primer because it’s not clumpy or dry but goes on smoothly and keeps mascara in it’s place. Other brands can put on thick white primer and by the time you put mascara on it’s a clumpy mess. I also put on Jane’s primer on days when I’m not even wearing mascara for conditioning lashes.

Back for my 2nd tube!

I have loved this primer/conditioner and use it every time I plan to put on mascara. I don't wait for it to dry but instead add my mascara immediately, no clumps or other issues! I also love that it still applies/feels the same as it did when the tube was brand new. That's not been my experience with other lash primers. It's a winner in my book.

Not sure...

I haven't used this long enough to know if it really helps eyelashes but it is thick and I find it hard to cover the white with mascara. I end up getting a clumpy look I'm not happy with. I do use the mascara before the conditioner dries like it says but I don't see the benefit. I would not buy again.
