I have used Colorscience sunscreen for years but bought the sport sticks for a week long bike ride. I am a sunscreen addict that reapplies every two hours, and it’s hard to find a sunblock that doesn’t turn Me into Casper, and looking like an oil slick… especially with 5 reapplications through the day. HOWEVER! This stick has met my qualifications and is now my go to for daily use and reapplication. Also, I am a male and it is something I can wear around the boys and they never know. And a word of advice to all the mineral sunblock wear-ers out there: practice patience with your sunblock. All mineral sunblock needs to be rubbed in to be sheer, and it takes about 15 min to set, and loose its sheen. See, mineral sb SITS on the skin and is not absorbed. So apply, keep rubbing in and breath!

I love this stuff! It goes on smoothly, can be spread easily, smells great, is not gooey, and protects beautifully. It's a really convenient way to carry and apply sunblock. A tip, though: Don't leave it in a hot car. It will melt and separate. I think I salvaged my melted one, which is great because...did I mention?...I love this stuff!

As I hang on to my last year of 40 I have noticed the backs of my hands have started to turn crepe-y. I decided sun damage was probably the culprit since every morning and evening I drive home with the sun hitting my hand for a decent period of time and I've never used sunscreen on my hands. These are great to keep around the office or house and rub on the backs of hands without getting sunscreen all over the palms of your hands and then on your phone and steering wheel, etc. I applied some to my cheeks as well - it does leave a white cast but if you rub it in it seems to soak in pretty well. It's not dry like some of the sticks are, they have a decent amount of slide to them. They have been great to use when you need sunscreen in a pinch without getting it everywhere.

Love that it didn't irritate my skin on first application so continued to use it. This is saying a lot seeing that I have dry sensitive acne prone skin. These make for easy reapplication throughout the day.
I mostly use the Colorescience Sport Stick SPF 50 to reapply sunscreen during the day. First thing in the morning I apply a moisturizer with SPF, currently Paula's Choice Defense Essential Glow SPF 30, and I'll apply this on top of that during the day as needed (usually at 11am and 2pm). I find applying a stick formula for reapplication much easier than a liquid formula, which feels messier and a bit gross to layer. The Colorescience formula goes on light, doesn't make my skin feel suffocated even with multiple layers, is white when applied (which is great so you don't miss any areas), but rubs in fairly clear (my skin is fair/light and I don't experience very noticeable whitening). My only issue with this product is that about once every 2 weeks I'll experience some peeling from my nightly tretinoin use, and this formula really clings to the peeling patches and leaves white patches on my face. Luckily, right now with Covid, this isn't an issue, as I'm not out in public all that much and most people are 6+ feet away, so any whiteness would be impossible to see. I also apply this to my lips when I don't have an SPF lip balm on hand (I'm loving the new EltaMD UV Lip Balm SPF 36); it's moisturizing enough for the lips but does leave a very strong white cast. In addition to my face, it's great for reapplying SPF to the tops of my hands throughout the day. When I do wear a tinted SPF (usually NeoStrata Sheer Physical SPF 50), I elect to reapply the tinted formula rather than the Colorescience Sport Stick, so as to not create any streakiness with reapplication. I like these sticks enough to repurchase when needed. I've had them for about 2 months and have gotten a lot of use already (even though it's winter). They are more generously sized than your usual stick SPF, as well.

I have to say with the few colorescience products I have tried I have never been disappointed. Their sunscreens are amazing. They are incredibly lightweight and you feel as though you are not wearing anything, which is a feat for sunscreens! This product is so easy to apply in its stick form, and blends clear but...drumroll please...matte!! No extra shiny, heavy, pore clogging feeling with this sunblock. You don't feel as if you have a layer of product caked on your face, your skin can breathe! Get it and while you're at it just go for the twin pack and save some money because, trust me, you will be happy you have that second stick!
