AMAZING

I suffered a trimalleolar fracture on Christmas 2024. My operation required 2 seperate incisions, one of which ran from the bottom of my foot up my leg 4 inches and another 2 inch incision over my ankle bone. When my stitches were finally removed, I began liberally applying the scar recovery gel and topping it with Skin Ceuticals Hydra Balm and wrapping lightly with gauze for 12 hours per day. After only 5 months from surgery, doctors would call other doctors in to look amazed at how the scars are virtually undetectable. Everyone who has looked at the scars are shocked and they all want to know what I used. This product is really beyond amazing!

My doctor recommended this to me to use following breast reconstructive surgery. I've been using it twice daily for 3 months. It's a little too early in the healing process to tell if it's working to take away the scars. The bright pinkness of the scars has definitely gotten better as well as flattened out. I'm told it will take up to a year in the healing process so I'm hopeful that using the gel with assist in lightening the scars.

Good for redness

I have used in the past and got good results. Had another surgery years later and this scar is so red. Using silicone strips with slight pressure helps flatten, but didn’t address my redness. Just by applying few times in between it has lightened redness already

SkinMedica Scar Recover Gel with Centelline

This recovery gel is good. I am using it post-procedure as the doctor advised to use a scar recovery product. The cost for such a small amount is the only reason I have deducted one star. The size of the tube does not look like the photo of the product. It is a very slim cylindrical tube not wide and flat appearing like the photo. I will likely need to reorder as I do not think the product will last long enough. I'd also like to have it around as a staple to aid in any future wound healing.
