I use this on my arms to help tone down some freckles. It works fine there, but it was really irritating my face, I had a lot of new red spots. It is supposed to be used spot by spot, which is hard when your trying to get rid of freckles... but it has helped on my arms... I just don't have the patience to apply to each freckle on my face.

It is a very good product. It made my skin brighter and glowing. It somehow faded dark spots. I advise that after using it on skin apply a moisturizer because the skin becomes dry.

Good product that works over time. You definately need to give it a chance. It is not immediate, but it definately feels good on the skin (it may sting a bit at first), but it will peel off the dark spots alot quicker and you may notice this peeling within a few weeks if not sooner. However, there are other products with higher strength HQ, which may work better for hyperpigmentation such as the obagi line. This product is a great alternative though and alot cheaper. I would try this brand out first. Overall, pca is a great line of products!!!

My skin doc has recommended this product for some spots I have on my cheeks. I have very sensitive skin but this one does not irritate me. I just use it once a day at night since I get exposed quite a bit during daytime and I know I am not supposed to be while using this product. I will continue using this product for another year or so and see what happens.

I am 35 year old black woman. I have had oily skin over 25 years along with black spots and now enlarged pores. I have had PCA chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and using Retin-A. Since using Phaze 13 for about a month twice a day, it makes the spot darker (drying the skin) but it eventually peels in thin layers. This process slows down and then it will do it again. It is better to just put the serum on the spot. My face is lighter but the spots really stand out. I would recommend this product, it just takes time.
