Olaplex Magic
I use the entire Olaplex system for fine hair, using deep conditioning products weekly as instructed. I use No. 9 while styling my hair these days, but I recently added this volumizing “mist” and have been just shocked at how some minor attention with this spray on my roots before blow drying (always at the medium setting) really has had a notable impact. And it’s an impact that lasts all day long. With No. 9 working up from my ends up and the “mist” (which makes it sound weak and powerless, it’s not) working down from my roots, I have seen the voluminousness well after the 18 hour mark. This stuff is genius, and I’ll be rebuying in perpetuity because this is a true and unexpected keeper!

Transformed My Hair
For my thin fine hair, this product has made an incredible difference giving my hair lots of body and protection. I am absolutely delighted that there finally is a volumizer that works for me. I do use lots of this product because it has such a fine mist, and after applying it I blow dry my hair. It is so easy to use and with great results!

Creates nice volume and thickness
I am a true Olaplex fan and use almost their entire line - so I was excited to see they released a new product for volume!. I’m happy to report that it doesn’t disappoint!! I applied several pumps around my roots after I had blowout my hair about 75% and continued to blow dry. The results were a nice lifted crown with improved thickness. I liked that it didn’t feel stiff or sticky and I could easily brush through and style without losing the volume. Sometimes I even apply on next day hair at my roots and that method works too! I couldn’t detect much of a scent and it’s a really fine spray application. I recommend for a nice subtle, natural, yet beautiful voluminous blowout. For reference, I have blonde highlights and fine, shoulder length hair.

I liked the delicate scent, but since I now have fine hair, and although the spray was light, it made my fine hair too soft and limp the next day. But if you don't have fine hair, I think this spray would be fantastic!

This product has potential :-)
It did reduce drying time, helped my baby-fine hair to look shinier & healthier, and added a bit of volume. It hasn't helped as much with fly-aways, but I'm still learning how to get the best results from it. I love all my other Olaplex products, so I'm sure I'll love this as well, once we get our act together ;-)

Probably not for thinner hair types
I was excited to get this product as an alternative to olaplex #9 styling product or to use with it for more volume. It does add volume but can get a little crispy. I have only used it twice, so I am still perfecting my technique. I may have used too much. I think it would be great for medium to thick hair. I have somewhat fine and thinnish hair, it does seem to add volume, but definitely less product is better.

Hair is shiny and frizz free!!
I love how this makes my hair look! I use liberally and it transforms my hair! (I have not tried to use it again after hair is partially dry to build volume, since I alway add a little styling gel on top for that purpose.) It smooths my normally wavy and frizzy short hair. Looks great on the first day-normally it took a day and night to calm it all down and make it look less “wig-like!” Very happy with this product-no stickiness or hair feeling like it is heavy with product! OLAPLEX has taken over my hair care routine and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!
