This product is "strong" but gentle. I know that doesn't sound right, but when you use one of these pads, you can feel and smell evidence that the clarifying pads mean business. The gentle part is that your skin feels fresh, but not exfoliated-sensitive. It refines the surface for a smooth look. The pads are drenched in the product, so I squeeze the extra product back into the jar before use.
