I love how creamy this product is so it spreads easily on the lips. If it's cold, the product hardens and it becomes more difficult to apply, but still more easily than a lot of comparable lip balms. This product makes my lips very soft and minimizes fine lines. I like how it does not have any pumping effect, I don't care for this whole lip plumping nonsense.

Avene Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm

I have been using this product regularly for about 2 years. Why? It works very well for me. My lips are easily chapped so I make frequent applications. I love the feel of Avene Lip Balm it is slick at first and then soaks in. My only complaint comes because I usually carry it in my pocket and body heat softens the stick which then requires gentle application to avoid damaging the product.

I did not like this lip balm. It went on smooth enough, but the scent really turned me off and it did not last on my lips long enough to be very moisturizing. Glad I was able to get this on sale and with points because I would not buy this again.

Developed a reaction

At first I really enjoyed this lip balm. It's smooth and has good staying power without feeling thick. After using it for about a week my lips started peeling and hurting. The more I used of this the worse it got so I had to stop using it. I really wanted to like it, but something in it just doesn't work with my lips.
