Didn't do enough

I am 51 with combo skin and wrinkles. And yet I still struggle with breakouts. When I got this there are very few directions. It doesn't tell you to shake it (you need to shake it). So the first week or so or was coming out too much and it was runny. I was shaking it a little btw. Then suddenly it starts coming out in a mousse consistency. I just finished it. I received it a month ago. So it's really expensive. And I still have pimples. No real improvement. It didn't dry out my skin. Maybe it would get better, i think it causes purging. I will not repurchase.
