Dr. Barbara Sturm Aloe Vera Gel

Pricey but very effective!

I bought this aloe gel because my dermatologist started me on anti-acne routine that can be very drying and cause lots of skin redness and peeling. I wanted something with strong moisturization but also repairative properties that I could layer on very thin beneath my sunscreen/moisturizer product. This has so far been perfect. The concentration of what my dermatologist has given me is multiple times stronger than what I was using over the counter and this product has been perfect at reducing the redness. It's been so good I haven't had any peeling at all and at any redness that begins to form is immediately vanquished. It isn't just the aloe of course that does the job, the purslane in this is also fantastic. This is why I bought this over other aloe gel products because the other active ingredients listed aren't available in the competitors. This gel might carry a premium price, but it has a premium effectiveness. For me, it's been worth it.
