This is a rich moisturizing stick, but not "sheer". Good for someone on the go, who doesnt want to carry around a lip pencil and a lip stick. This takes care of the liner, color and gloss. It is glossy in appearance. Feels nice too, not too thick, not too thin. The color is more "Brown" than red, it seems to be more of a "red-brown". Good Fall season color!
