This mineral based product is non-irritating to sensitive eyes so that is a plus. However, it is on the dry side and does not glide on smoothly without a bit of "tugging'. I so wanted to love this product because it is mineral based. Will not repurchase.

I'm picky about ingredients so I only pick Clean products without stuff that could cause irritation. So I've tried out a few on the market and this particular felt-tip pen in black seems to be the best of its type. Glides on very smoothly, is soft yet precise. It's not waterproof, so while it stays put under running water, if you get in the pool and then rub your eyes a little, the product will likely come off. In that case though it comes off really cleanly, so there's no smudges/residue patches that could make you look like a raccoon (or worse, a panda). Great if you want something hassle-free & dependable in normal/colder/dry weather, but if you live in a tropical weather or will get in contact with liquids/sweat & rub your eyes, try look for something that's waterproof.

I have been using liquid eyeliner for 35 years, and finally have found a brush/liquid that allows precise, fine control like no other. Due to the discontinuation of Chanel's liquid eyeliner in a pot, which was my staple, I was forced to find a suitable substitute. It has been a long, frustrating and costly road, but I am so pleased to have found Koh Gen Do. My new staple.
