Zero effect!!

I bought this cream along with the Pure Vitamin C Eyes as I was on a vitamin C regimen, and let me tell you it has zero effect when it comes to improving signs of skin ageing, texture, complexion or brightness! It’s not even hydrating enough! I don’t want to be too harsh on La Roche-Posay, that’s why I’m giving it two stars, but I’ll definitely not buy it again!!

GREAT FOR UPPER LIP LINES!

I LOVE this product- I use it primarily on my upper lip line area, both in the morning and evening, and at age 63 I have no visible lip lines. The skin on upper lip is very thin, like under eyes, so I decided years ago to use a great eye cream with anti-aging ingredients on the upper lip line, and found this product to do what it actually professes to do, moisturize w/important vitamin c properties, to lessen likelihood of drying. I 100% recommend!

I love La Roche-Posay products. I tried this and wasn't crazy about it. I think it works well, but sometimes in certain lights the areas I applied looked yellow (product is yellow based). Also, you need to use for at least 3 weeks before any results.

Nice Vitamin C Lotion

This is a nice perhaps vitamin C ''starter'' lotion type product, but I'm not sure I have noticed an improvement in skin texture, overall health, or fine lines. It also pills/balls up even with a small amount used, and somehow feels a bit heavy on my skin like there is an unbreathable layer -- likely the silicones. I still use it from time to time now to use it up (I do love the scent of this!) and it doesn't pill up when I mix it with face lotion such as Vanicream lite. Not a bad product, I have just found that I much prefer other vitamin C serums instead.

Effective!!

I have used this Vit C serum for a good 6 months and can confirm it is hydrating, safe for sensitive skin, brightens, smooths and renews the skin! I use this at night, I do not recommend using this under makeup because it probably will peel off. Some reviews have mentioned an orange tint after wearing, that is the nature of Vit C though. It is an antioxidant, so when it is working and is exposed to oxygen & other free radicals (while on your face), it will produce that reaction if it contains a high amount of active Vit C. Doesn't bother me when that happens. The product out of the tube is white and after 10 hours on the face it may have a slight orange tint. I have very sensitive skin, so I appreciate the high quality ingredients at a reasonable price!! Big fan of La Roche Posay products.
