Apparently the pH is too high to be effective

I have been using this regularly for several months without noticing any difference. Of course, I followed the correct procedure for AHAs, leaving it on my skin for 15-30 minutes before applying anything else. But this made no difference. I later looked it up and discovered the pH was fairly high for an AHA, at 4.4. That said, it might be good for sensitive skin as a beginner AHA?
