Good Vitamin C

I bought this after seeing it recommended by a couple of different You Tubers that I follow. The pros: it is effective (brightening) and does not irritate my skin. The drawbacks: the consistency is a bit thick and not sure if it is as effective as L ascorbic acid. Overall, I like it. I find the thickness "issue" is easy to work around if I wet my fingertips with just a little bit of water before I rub it in. Then it is very smooth and absorbs nicely. For my mature skin, I may go back to something with L ascorbic acid as I want to stimulate collagen in addition to brighten and protect with antioxidants.
