A definite time saver!
I've been using Alterna Caviar Volumizing Mousse for at least a couple of years, and I wanted to try something new. The SATIN Rapid Blowout Balm is a nice change. My chin length hair is fine, has no body, is color treated, and my roots get oily while the ends are dry. The SATIN Rapid Blowout Balm gives me slightly less volume, but the end result is sleek, with more shine and smoother ends. The overall look is more polished, and it actually takes less time. As described, it does provide a nice slip. The brush glides through my hair effortlessly. It dries a little faster overall, but the ends don't dry out. Love it! (I'll subtract one star because the balm had separated in the bottle on receipt. The pump dispensed a very clear, runny liquid. Very messy. I told my hair stylist, who said that it should be more like a whitish lotion, and that the solution had probably separated. It took repeated shaking to get it to mix properly again, but it's been fine since then. I shake it before each use, just in case. I was relieved that the product wasn't defective.)
