Too dark, oily and tacky - Skip this

If you like Avene's version of this that comes in a plastic compact with an applicator sponge, then this might be for you. If you don't then stay away. Way too dark, it's oily and tacky and gives me a shiny/oily/sticky face. The color is just...brown. So if you are pale or have pink or red undertones, stay far away. I have yellow/gold undertones and it's still too dark for me. I'm pretty disappointed, I wanted to like this, but it's just not worth the amount I paid.

Avene Sunscreen

I loved their prior sunscreen, but this not so much. I stopped using it. It left a white sheen on the skin/didn't absorb well and was drying out my skin. Left my skin looking awful.

Performs well but too matte for me

The ingredients were exactly what I was looking for as someone who suffers from melasma and is acne-prone. The good news is this product did not break me out and ultimately served its purpose. I don’t think I will buy it again though. Initially, the finish is satiny but quickly turns to matte which I don’t prefer. I prefer a glowy, supple finish because I live in a very dry climate.

AWESOME Sunscreen

This is my second time purchasing this sunscreen. I LOVE it and would highly recommend it! I buy the tinted version and it makes my face glow, and the tint blends in perfectly with my face. I have brown skin so finding a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast has always been a challenge for me. Finally, after years of trying different products I finally found a sunscreen I will use in my daily skincare routine. I can’t say it enough times but I LOVE this sunscreen.
