I like this "cleanser" but I actually use it for hydrating since it doesn't need to be rinsed off. I obtained it once the avene emulsion was discontinued. Now this is discontinued but I will use it until gone.

Very gentle
This is definitely a very gentle cleanser. It works well on skin that's not too dirty. Does not irritate and leaves the skin moisturized. Does not remove sunscreen or makeup well, so I use a different cleanser on the days I use these.

Gentle cleanser
I have rosacea, and am constantly looking for a good, gentle, fragrance-free cleanser...and this is just that...it doesn't irritate my skin at all...so I love it for that...however, ifyou wear makeup at all, you will definitely need to double cleanse to remove makeup...I use reusable/washable.cotton rounds and they work well...if you use waterproof eye makeup though, you are going to need a seperate makeup remover for that....but for me, it works very well since I wear a minimal amount of makeup.
