This duo has worked really well for me. A single layer of the cream is sufficient to conceal minor to moderate imperfections, such as 4-5 day old blemishes, redness, and under eye darkness. Use multiple layers for really noticeable acne coverage: cream first, then the powder, allow to set, then repeat until you have enough coverage. There is an odor to the cream that is similar to walking into a tire store. It fades fairly quickly, though, and I prefer that to added perfumes that would break me out.
